Re-elected Verrier shuffles the White & Case pack

White & Case announced last month the re-election of executive chair Hugh Verrier, who takes on the role for a third time at the US firm.

First elected in 2007, Verrier will start another four-year term on 1 September. Having won re-election, the project finance partner also made appointments to the firm’s executive committee, gifting places to London managing partner Oliver Brettle, São Paulo-based Donald Baker, and banking partner David Koschik in New York. The body is responsible for decision making for the 38-office firm and will see the trio also take up their positions on 1 September 2015.

Linklaters’ Davies to step down early as managing partner to join Lloyds

On the same day that the City giant posted its results for the last financial year, Linklaters‘ managing partner Simon Davies has confirmed he will retire from the firm at the end of 2015, a year ahead of the end of his current term, to join Lloyds Banking Group.

Dechert re-elects leadership and picks corporate partner Nassau for chief executive in 2016

The partnership at Dechert have re-elected Andrew Levander chair for another four-year term, while chief executive Daniel O’Donnell has been given another year as corporate partner Henry Nassau is primed to take on the role when O’Donnell stands down in July 2016.

Braham wins Freshfields senior partner election with Pugh and Eilers to serve as co-managing partners

After a three-way contest, the front-runners Edward Braham (pictured) and Christopher Pugh have won Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s leadership election with Braham set to serve as senior partner while Pugh will sit alongside Cologne-based Stephan Eilers as joint-managing partner.
