The NFU Mutual has appointed seven law firms including Clyde & Co, DAC Beachcroft and Kennedys to its revised English and Welsh legal panel following a comprehensive review and tender process.
Keoghs, Langleys Solicitors, Berrymans Lace Mawer and Taylor Rose Law have also won spots on the reviewed roster, which takes effect from 1 May 2015. The contracts, which have been rewarded for an initial three-year period, will see the firms providing the mutual with legal services and support across the full range of its general insurance claims operations.
In a statement Matthew Scott, chief claims manager at NFU Mutual said: ‘Our revised legal panel will provide all the capabilities required to support the future needs of our members. We are looking forward to further enhancing the excellence of our claims delivery in partnership with these leading insurance legal practices.’
The mutual reported a £635m profit after tax in its 2013 annual report with £14.8bn of total funds under management.
